Noticed this today after listening to a 99% Invisible podcast about Bethel.

I also learned that San Diego shares this motto as well.

I also learned that San Diego shares this motto as well.

That motto appears frequently in achievements of arms for people with the last name of Wilson, especially those from Scotland. I have long suspected (but cannot prove) that Gill Robb Wilson had a hand in getting CAP to use it.
