taking online AFIADL courses on ipad?

 I'm considering buying an iPad, but I have one question that i have been unable to answer. I am currently enrolled in Squadron Officer School, could I use the iPad to do any of the course work when I am away from my computer? I really like all that the iPad offers but since Apple products (iPhone, iPod & iPad) does not support flash and most likely never will as long Steve Jobs has any say over it, it may limit some of the usefulness in the product. Are my concerns valid? Will the iPad do AFIADL course work? What kind of limitations can I expect?

  I am also considering ditching my older aviation GPS and using the iPad (w/ Foreflight) as my gadget of choice when I fly.
