Hey, does anybody know of a source for decent looking gray pants? I'm looking for something as similar as possible to the USAF style pants (no pleats, no cuffs, poly-wool blend preferred, but poly-cotton also acceptable) as possible, but in a similar color to the gray shoulder marks.

There are so many different manufacturers that it's often tough to pin down a particular style and color, and fit, that works for everybody.

Take one of the shoulder marks with you to your favorite clothing store and check them out. That is literally the only way that has worked for me.

And strangely enough I have had far better luck finding gray slacks that fit at Goodwill than at a regular retail store. Weird, right?

Plus you can hum Macklemore while you look through the gray trouser selection...

I'm wearing a wool blend dress pant, yet most of much squadron members wear cargo type. It varies all over the place, and a dozen different shades of gray. LOL

Tactical pants are only authorized with the golf shirt.

Dress slacks must be worn with the aviator shirt and are an option with the golf shirt.

I used to get mine at Sears - a brand called Flex-Slax. The latest ones I bought are Haggars, from I don't know where.
As for color, go for something a bit darker than the shoulder marks. I believe Haggar actually has a Medium Grey shade.

Yes, of course. I scanned the OP too quickly and missed the word "Aviator". I should always stay away from uniform discussions. Seems like I've said that before. LOL

For what it's worth, these are the ones I use and they're professional looking and comfortable.

They look good, but it seems they don't have them in the size I need (42 x 34). Any alternatives?

And they are not stocked in my size. Oh well, thanks for the link!

There are over 2000 returns to "gray dress slacks" on Amazon, likely they have something to fit in your price range.

You might be able to get a pair from an online retailer that sells security uniforms or if you have a uniform store in your area.

Why pay that much? The most I ever paid for a pair of CAP gray slacks was about $20. Like Eclipse said, there are about 2000 hits on Amazon alone. Add in Walmart, Target, Kohl's, the local S-mart, and you have more choices than you really need.

And yes, they're all "CAP compliant". They're gray....

I've gotten the from Galls and QM Uniforms for about $25 - incl shipping. I've found they make the legs bigger and less tapered than the big box stores or scAmazon.

I think those are the ones I bought.  Lightweight, wrinkle-resistant, and comfortable.  Unfortunately, I got mine in a slim fit/tapered leg and I'm not completely satisfied with they way they lay over my shoes.  Oh well!  I got them at Kohls when they were having a decent sale on menswear.  They didn't have my size, so I had to order them online.
