...Yes, Hairspray and other certain types of spray cans are now prohibited at PAWG encampment. It looks like our squadron started a legend... ;D

I guess someone figured out that aerosol+flame=bad things. All we had to worry about in MY day was some bonehead trying to melt shoe polish and nearly burning down our barracks at Fort Benning.

Should have been prohibited ever since Axe spray became popular.

That's another story altogether...Axe/Tag should NEVER be used in lieu of bathing.

True enough, but here's the real reason.

I went to PA wing encampment. TD01 Our flight commanders were constantly bellowing at us, "YOUR HAIR LOOKS ATROCIOUS!!, you should use so much hairspray, if you bump your head on your bunk, it won't hurt because you have a HELMET HEAD! ...Training Day 03, the carbon monoxide detectors were going off. We found out it was from all the hairspray we were using. After that, no hairspray use was aloud inside the barracks.
Seriously, pin it up and move on.
It's "Pass-In-Review" not "Pass-In-Runway".

Why am I reminded of "Parents Just Don't Understand"?
"I asked the Commander for hairspray and she said No! You go to encampment to learn, not for a fashion show"
In fact, I think I could write an entire song based on that for encampment...
