Title: Achievement 9 Staff Duty Analysis
Post by: Pulsar on January 20, 2014, 07:07:50 PM
So I was looking over the SDA outline for Ach. 9 and I saw this line:

Quote2.     What is the role of the commander in managing the suspenses of his staff?

What are "suspenses"? I tried looking it up the dictionary --No find. Even the spelling checker sais it's spelled wrong.

HELP :o

Recurring deadlines.

Basically, things you have to take care of on a regular basis.

..and "it's in suspense" meaning.. well, okay- you put in a request. You send it up the chain. You wait.

It's in suspense, your suspense queue, file, what have you. It's a tickler to remind you that if you don't hear back on something, go chase after it.
