Richard A. Jensen, 63, of Rockford, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born May 20, 1955, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, the son of Ralph P. Jensen and Elizabeth L. Morris. Married Mary Rouse in Roselle, IL on September 1, 1990. They moved to the Rockford area in 1991. Richard worked for Angelic Organics. Richard always had enjoyed airshow and aviation. He had attained the rank of Major in the Civil Air Patrol, and was the Commander of the Rockford 251 Composite Squadron of the Rockford airport, group 4 in the Civil Air Patrol. Survivors include wife, Mary; sons, Patrick and Brendan; mother, Elizabeth J. (Paul) Haupt; brothers, Michael (Barbara), David (Char) and Thomas (Tess) Jensen; uncle, Robert McBroom; father-in-law, James L. Rouse; brothers-in-law, Martin Rouse and Thomas Rouse; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of OSF St. Anthony Medical Center for all their care and support.
