On a related bent... an earlier draft a few years ago of CAPR 52-16 named achievements 8-16 after additional aerospace pioneers, a couple of examples being Bessie Coleman (first African-American licensed pilot) and Dr. Wernher von Braun. That died a quick death.

Sorry for being a few days late, but was just thinking about this.  There were more than 2:

Senior Program:  Gill Rob Wilson

Cadet Program:
Curry Achievement Award
Hap Arnold (since he did sign off Wilson's plan as rep from the War Department)
Feik Milestone Award
Spaatz Milestone Award

But yes, would be important to include more such as Earle Johnson.
