Title: Meetings other than once per week
Post by: mikeylikey on January 10, 2007, 10:26:38 PM
I am just curious if any Squadrons have informal or formal meetings other than once per week.  Example, regular SQD meeting every Monday, but staff meets once or twice a month other than on Monday night to discuss issues and work on stuff.

Last year we were doing a "Saturday" program.  Squadron staff officers can also call additional meetings as needed.  We also some times do Level I, especiallyu now in its new form, one a day of our choosing if need be.

I'm trying to convince the rest of my squadron's officers to agree to meet once a month to talk about all those things we end up trying to cram into the after meeting parking lot BS sessions, which now that winter is here, are all but a couple of minutes long. It doesn't even need to be anywhere near 'official'; such as meeting at a members house, or a local restaurant.

I know I would appreciate it.
