Office of Heraldry: At the November CSAG meeting the members approved development of a CAP
regulation for heraldry to be introduced in 2014
, together with a pamphlet with information on insignia
development. Both documents are currently being revised and finalized.

There was a job announcement: http://www.capmembers.com/media/cms/Director_Office_of_CAP_Heraldry_Job_FA6276D01B276.pdf
(One of the duties is "• Promote a strong safety and Operational Risk Management program within CAP")(?)
for "Director, Officer of CAP Heraldry", however the Historical program lists a "Manager"

A pamphlet and regulation for heraldry were created but ended up trapped in the review process followed by the the regulation freeze in order to overhaul all existing regulations. When the National History Program staff reorganized in 2016, the title "Office of CAP Heraldry" was simplified to "Heraldry Manager." Should a unit at any level desire guidance on heraldry, the current occupant of the position is ready, willing, and able to assist with any question that may arise.

Is there contact information for the heraldry manager? All I see is a contact form on the History website and not email addresses which I would need to send artwork attachments.

His name is listed in the Vector. Anyone reaching out to the program via history.cap.gov can also be routed to the individual.

With so many names and functions at squadrons, that is 6 to 8 per group, and groups, and wings, and regions, and NHQ we can remember all those functions, offices, and go directly to them... NOT!
