I was just looking through the program for the 1947 air show sponsored by York Squadron 32, Pennsylvania Wing. It included a brief history of CAP (we were less than six years old!). I had to laugh at the following line: "It is now a definite part of the Army Air Forces, and its members wear regulation Army uniforms, and while in uniform are subject to the Articles of War and Military Law and Discipline."
