Here we are 1,225 posts later and here is the first picture of me.  The cute girl next to me is my adoring wife  :-* (You might recognize her from the new SLS slides) The picture was taken last year just before a KC-135 flight with the NHANG.

EDIT: SLS Slides

Hey - I remember you two.  You were on staff for NCC couple years ago.  I think it was DC.  I never put the name and face together!

jimmydeanno

Yep, that's us.  It was NCC '06 in DC.

Here's a pic of me here at RSC - GO THUNDERBIRDS!

Please, please. If you knew what I was doing with an intercepter vest, lightsaber, and poker hat...just...I...forget it...

The filter is in the SAS bag. I didnt want to open up the seal and waste the filter just for the picture. IMERT is the Illinois State "Oh my god its the end of the world who do we call?" team.
OK, I give up, whats with the riot gear, IMERT-Central-BLS?  Isnt your gas mask missing its filter?

Im just guessing that you haven't been deployed yet. Those are awfully new looking black BDUs, and minus all the regulations patches and tapes. Also, for the person who asked about the riot gear...it must be private purchase because we arent issued that stuff. Its only in emergency caches. And we have switched to khaki BDUs now, though the wearer of them in that photo has until 2010 to phase out his ninja suit...most of us have done so already (Im also with IMERT...Basic Life Support Specialist...North Team).

The pic was taken a couple of years ago and the uniform was just off the rack that day. I was making sure that my field gear fit well with the uniform when the pic was taken. I havent switched to the new uniform yet because I dont have the money to complete the uniform, I'm having enough problems keeping gas in my tank.

I'm headed to Men's Wearhouse later on to try on suits.  I'll post a photo from the fitting room.  I know it won't look as highspeed as ^^ but maybe if I had a gas mask...

That is pure, high-octane awesomeness!  I sent him an email back when Mail Call was still on the air about CAP, but I don't think he ever did a session on it.

Ya know in the spirit of things, in this great picture, all I found for uniform violations was a partially zipped pant leg.......

Good job IOW!!

^ BTW... I know I shouldn't be wearing an officer's cap yet but was told it was okay since I'm about 2 months to promotion and it would've been a waste to spend money on an enlisted women's flight cap.

You're not out of uniform. That's the proper cap for senior members.
