Gipps GA-8 Airvan & pilot dreams.

Google 2014 Valdez Flyin: 

This is an annual fly-in at Valdez AK,  The 2014 fly-in short field take off & landing competition someone entered a Gipps GA-8 to compete with Cessna 180's and 185's.  Cessna bids off the ground in 150 feet or less,  GA-8 using far more.  Though not as bad as the Cirrus driver a couple years ago who competed against Super Cubs, C-185's, and Aeronca's.
