What are your theories to what happened to this flight? I have heard it was hijacked but I just dont know.  What do you think?

This is CAP-Talk, not CNN...

But I read this and it seems pretty plausible / likely to me. Occam's razor and all.

I have no theories until I have facts and data to support the current rounds of conjecture and speculation.

Then again:

I spent 20 minutes on Google Earth this afternoon.  This guy's conclusion has holes too.   The runway at Hat Yai is just north of the nominal track of the jet, and 60+ miles CLOSER to the original turnback point. (and 9000 ft vs 10000 ft)  If you're on fire, that runway, or even the much shorter one at Songkhla on the coast is *far* more attractive than the one WAY ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE PENINSULA.

This is the third CAP Talk thread on this missing aircraft.

The article NIN linked to is a repost (with proper attribution) of the blog post here: https://plus.google.com/106271056358366282907/posts/GoeVjHJaGBz  At Mr. Goodfellow's site you can read his responses to those who have pointed out potential flaws in his theory.

If you want to know anything and everything about the flight, the search, the theories, aliens, inflight fires, and every possible explanation of what happened go here: http://www.pprune.org/rumours-news/535538-malaysian-airlines-mh370-contact-lost.html

This is the Professional Pilots Rumor Network (PPRuNe). As I write this, the thread on MH370 has 320 pages, 6,389 messages and 9.6 million hits (almost like a uniform thread on CAP Talk). The mods have been trying to delete/remove the off-the-wall posts and those which are clearly from people who know nothing about aircraft, flying or related fields (which in this case include satellite operation and theory, SAR, and so on). Maps and diagrams have been created and posted by those who are seriously trying to figure this out. The media, of course, (and the talking heads you see on the news) also reads the thread and gathers questions to ask at press briefings.

The other place right now to keep track of is the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) which is conducting an active search SW of Oz.  They are planning to hold a press conference shortly about some finds (it's daylight search time there now).  https://www.amsa.gov.au/media/index.asp  They also publish updated search maps each day as part of the Media Kit.
