Title: Online training opportunities
Post by: exarmyguard on January 02, 2007, 12:04:29 AM
I am looking for online training.  I am familiar with the e-training in ES, AE, etc.  Is there anything else that CAP members can do?  I saw something about the CAP instructor course, but I can't figure out how to enroll?

It is called SET (skill evaluator's training).  There is an on-line test and power point training https://tests.cap.af.mil/ops/tests/default.cfm?grp=dos (https://tests.cap.af.mil/ops/tests/default.cfm?grp=dos) here.

The power point link is on the bottom of the yellow box.

The course I am referring to, CAP Instructor Program, is located at the http://www.level2.cap.gov site.  If you see where it says enrollment, there is a link, https://afiadl.mont.disa.mil/ and there is an official Air Force site.  I think I have to contact afiadl for enrollment.

I already did the SET course.  Interesting stuff.  Did alot of the other one's on that site, too.

There must be more stuff that is along the lines of NASAR and beyond that CAP can take?

The CAPIP is currently in Beta 2 testing. Only approved individuals are permitted to enroll. If you are interested in being a tester, contact the NHQ person (Mark W.?) whose email link is on the CAPIP page.
