Title: Schweizer 300
Post by: Flying Pig on August 31, 2011, 04:20:16 AM
Does anybody know of anybody who owns one in the Central CA area.  I dont need a bunch of links to flight schools.  I already know who they are.  Looking for a private owner who may be interested in entering into a small business arrangement 1-2 weekends a month for about 6 months.

Thanks

Get into the FAA database, filter by A/C model, and see what comes up.

According to what I'm seeing, there are only two of these registered in the US. This is a helicopter we're talking about here?

Here are all the Schweizer branded airframes:

Weird.

There are hundreds of Schweizer 300s in the US.  I wonder why only two come up?

AHHHHH,,,,,I know why.  Because a S300 is listed as a Hughes 269 in the database.  Thanks for the lead.

Welcome. Wondered about the Hughes 269 thing when I was looking, but wasn't sure of similarities/differences. Guess you know.
