I've shared my story here before of how grateful I am of the opportunities CAP has given me. Joined 5 years ago as a PPL, and thru CAP quickly added IFR, then Commercial and on to CFI. I'm an indie CFI now as a new additional career.

So of course I try to raise my hand as often as possible to fly Army missions, Covid missions, Cadet O'rides and more to pay back what CAP has done for me.

Our local university AFROTC Cadets expressed an interest in O'rides, so I quickly helped set all that up and a week ago flew four of them. One of them enjoyed it so much he is now taking PPL lessons from me using rental planes at the airport.

You just never know who you will meet, or whats around the corner in CAP.
