Can someone tell me how to make one of those cool looking signatures with ribbons and stuff?
Photoshop.
The ribbon builder found here (http://mcchord.org/rack_builder/ (http://mcchord.org/rack_builder/)) generates a graphic that you can screenshot and upload to an image hosting service. That's how I got my rack up there. However, all the other cool badges and grade insignia (etc) would need to be added using Photoshop or GIMP or something to that effect.
I used the McChord ribbon builder, then used imgur as the hosting service, I think it turned out pretty well.
Thank you all.
If you do a little 'shopping and save as a .PNG, issues like "white/grey" space on an uneven rack becomes this:

Oooh. Point well taken! Thanks for the tip! Out of curiosity, what sort of image hosting services are people using? I use Imagebucket, but my trial has run out and I am looking for other hosts. Any recommendations?
I've been using Photobucket for about 9 years. Gets me by.
I use Imgur. It allows me to re-size the image, as well as edit it.
