Does anyone know what has happened to the CAP Knowledgebase?  It is still there but has not had an update since 18May07.  I tried to ask a question on the site and it appears that the "ask a question" tab has been removed.

The knowledgebase has been a great resource for quick information.  I'd hate see it go.

A wrong answer was given by the operator of the knowledgebase and NHQ sent out the black van.... >:D

If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.
To err is human, to blame someone else shows good management skills.

I am not sure.  I have seen it go a week before being updated (someone probably on vacation), but nearly 2 months is a bit excessive I think.

I infiltrated National's computer network and took it down because there was no answer to my question about why the American flag patch is worn on the CAP BDU!   >:D

Just kidding.  Ha ha ha!

I sent an e-mail off to member services and received the following reply.....

Capt Romere,

Thank you for the feedback on the CAP Knowledgebase.  The KB has proven
to be a very beneficial source of information for our members and yes,
it will continue to be updated in the near future.  We have temporarily
removed the "ask a question" feature while we are reviewing and updating
the site.  Please continue to use the site to find answers to your
questions and encourage fellow members to do the same.

Thank you for all you do for your community and America,

So what about all the dead links in the KB? You click a reference link and it kicks you back to the beginning rather than the answer you were looking for.

Maybe that is part of what the "reviewing and updating" is all about.

or answers that are completely contradictory?  I hope their cleaning is good because a lot of people say "I saw it in Knowledgebase," and as much as they were incorrect to do whatever, it as indeed there...

I think CAP Knowledgebase has been replaced by the eServices Help Desk.  At least thats where I directed a question regarding the new IT Specialty Track on-line tests.  Very good response and it is nice knowing that a real person is responding.

You may want to double-check me on that, but, that's my impression.
