Title: Subverting the Curse Filter
Post by: MIKE on November 30, 2008, 05:21:32 PM
Don't do it.  There are cadets present.

Quote from: MCoCMembers will refrain from using profanities, coarse language, or sexually based or suggestive materials.  Members will neither knowingly post links to web pages that contain these materials.

Members will not attempt to circumvent the profanity filter.  There is a filter in place which attempts to prevent the most objectionable words from being posted on the site.  Any extensive use of blocked words or attempts to circumvent the filter with alternate spellings, characters, or by other means is not acceptable.

The filter is there for a reason. Seriously... Watch your mouths.  Don't make me get the eSoap.

This is a recurring issue with many posters... Remember that this is a public forum and such language is inappropriate for this venue.

Mega bumped and sticky.

I'm going to start suspending accounts if I have to keep editing posts from users attempting to subvert the profanity filter.  I reserve the right to permanently suspend or ban repeat offenders, or for any one serious offense.

You have been warned.
