For those involved in the CAP sUAS Program, and those interested in learning more about it:

A great opportunity a few nights this week, during our down time, to to start training through the sUAS Mission Task Guide.  Michael Panco of the Delaware Wing will be our host.  The meeting swill be held on ZOOM.  Please see details below:

______________________

You are cordially invited to attend the sUAS Mission Pilot & Technician Virtual Training hosted by the Delaware Wing Civil Air Patrol and lead by 1st Lt. Michael Panco. This training will occur every week night on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday of each week from 6 to 8 PM Central Time.

We can achieve a lot without driving to a meeting and we have many things to go through in order to be knowledgeable and successful and safe Drone Pilots and Technicians and that means we must know all of the Regulations and Forms and Checklists that make our complicated program possible and organized. We will address all of the requirements that you will need to accomplish to be a Mission Ready Pilot and Technician, from Basic & Advanced 107 Training to Aircraft Systems Familiarity to Mission Planning to Mapping to Georeferencing Imagery.

Michael Panco is inviting you to a Virtual Web Conference meeting.
Topic: CAP sUAS Mission Pilot & Technician VIRTUAL TRAINING hosted by 1st Lt. Michael Panco DEWG DOU Deputy

Thanks for posting this. Will we be able to get sign-offs on SQTR tasks if we're not in your wing?

Nothing OpSec in any of the meetings.  This has been going on for a little over a month now with no issues thus far. Anyone afraid of zoom doesn't have to attend.

Yes there is a possibility of some of the SQTR items being signed off if you attend and participate in those particular meetings.

Thanks eclipse ... now I know what you mean. Anyone wanting the zoom information for the meeting can send me a private message.

They will be checking Cap ID numbers, and kicking anyone out that doesn't have one

Yep, this past run was the second time they've gone through the whole program, so they are taking a break for a few weeks and then they'll start the program up again.

Is there somewhere to look for info other than here? A little closer to the source?

It's usually posted on the Facebook group (not that that's better) and from what I can tell, it's usually posted by the event organizers.
