Does anyone have any experience with the Incident Commander Pro software?http://sartechnology.ca/sartechnology/sartechnology.htm (http://sartechnology.ca/sartechnology/sartechnology.htm)
I have been "looking" to look at it with some of the other guys here in the wing.. Maybe we can compile some thoughts about it here as we look at it?
'Incident Commander Pro' Software: $595 US Single-User license
'Incident Commander Pro' GIS Module: $595 US Single-User license
GIS-Enabled Network Licenses: $550 US Required for each computer in the network
Standard Network Licenses: $275 US Required for each computer in the network
Those are the discount prices. It seems very expensive. I have been looking at IMS2 which is free. It seems to do a good job of managing the paperwork aspect of the mission, presenting information to everyone involved and does have some GIS like features. Has anyone used both and can comment on how they compare?
People have asked about IMU2 and where it can be found.
http://wmu.nat.cap.gov/
is the server. It is a seperate program from the WMU tools but you get to it by logging into WMU. -R-
You have to log in as an Incident Commander (anyone can do it) and go to the database download. If you are not an AOBD or GBD or above you cannot download an ative database, but you can download the IMU2 application.
AFRCC now has a link for software they are using at their NSAR school.
Just downloading now..
