I first noticed this on another CAPBlog site and then confirmed it through the CAP Knowledge base. Maj Gen Pineda has authorized cloth grade insignia for cadet and senior member officers to be worn on the blue BDU cap.
It does not apply to cadet and senior NCO's and is not authorized for baseball caps.
The letter is dated 31 Aug 05. Just thought I would pass it along.
