Where in eservices can I check my background check status?

Just wondering where in eservices I can check to see the status of my background check.

If you log into eServices, on the left hand side you'll see "Member Search".  Type in your last name into the search box to search for yourself.

On the top line, you'll see something that says "LSCode".  If it says "LSCode: A", that means the background check is complete and everything is okay.  If it says "LSCode: P" that means it is still pending.

I don't see anything that says "LScode"

Accessible by selecting "Member Search" from the left side, and then enter you CAPID, or pick yourself from the list.

What does LSCode stand for?

I had heard "Leadership Code" (as in are you cleared to lead Cadets) but I don't know how true that is.

That is correct Panache.  It is referenced as such in CAPR 52-10 para 3.b

...FBI approved status is defined by a leadership code of "A" on the monthly membership listing and the issuance of a membership card that does not reflect the word "temporary."
