In reading the story about the Amtrak / Truck crash near Fallon, NV, this paragraph caught my attention:

The elder Knox was described by her pastor in Nebraska as a church-going woman who was well-known and volunteered in the youth ministry and at a community center and the Civil Air Patrol.
