It's 3pm 09Mar07... I live on the Hudson River in Brooklyn, NY and just saw 2 UH-60s followed by 4 A-10s flying northbound through the hudson river corridor at around 2000 feet. Something going on today?\
I see a lot of military helicopter traffic going up and down the river. From lone Black Hawks to Chinooks and USMC VIP detachment. Even saw a flight of 4 Cobras 3 days ago, so the 60's didn't phase me... it was the flight of Thunderbolt IIs that was really odd.
I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.
