Title: 1967 Power Flying Encampment, Allentown PA
Post by: JimFromHouston on July 18, 2018, 10:05:33 PM
I was one of the lucky few cadets who were able to get our licenses in 4 weeks in Allentown in 1967.

I am looking to contact anyone who was among that group or can give me information/photos of the program. Just got some old photos myself and feeling nostalgic.

Sure, provide a source of funding and it could happen!

First they'd have to lift the ban on seniors to get flight lessons in cap right now as it stands only gets are allowed

With the pilot shortages supposedly going on, there should be more of a reason to allow seniors to get in on the action, especially those seniors that give so much to CAP.
