SQ/CD - (And this is one of those times I hate that abbreviation because people always expect seperate CDC and CDS but our squadron's not large enough yet to have appointed a CDC)

Since an all-inclusive "Deputy Commander" doesn't really exist below group level I suppose I should say that I hold both CDS/CDC positions.

Edited to Fix Abbreviations. I apparently had a momentary case of dyslexia.

I was under the impression of CDC and CDS as the official terms for Deputy Commander of Cadets/Seniors respectively.

Major Carrales

Squadron Commander, Corpus Christi Comp Squadron  SWR-TX-026

I asked this because some have wondered about how CAPTALK reflects the general membership.  While I agree that it does not accurately reflect them vast majority, I think it is safe to say that a good amount of CAP squadron and group commanding officers are involved.

I know of two other commanding officers near me that are lurkers.  Keep it coming.

Sparky: once you run out of current commanders, lets try to have former commanders speak out.  That will likely swell your numbers considerably.  I am one of those.
