In case anyone feels like a trip to Orlando... 


Florida Wing will be hosting the 2012 Public Affairs Academy in Orlando, FL, 8-9 September 2012. 

This course will cover many aspects of the CAP and FLWG Public Affairs Program, provide an introduction to PA for new PAO's, cover new material for veterans, and satisfy the training requirement to progress in the PAO specialty track.

This event is NOT just for PAO's!  Unit commanders, Cadet Program Officers, and all who interested in helping CAP and our members receive the recognition we deserve are encouraged to attend! 

The event will be at the City of Orlando Emergency Operations Center.  We have arranged a group rate at the Days Inn Orlando Midtown of $34.27 per night for Friday and Saturday nights for a non-smoking room with 2 double beds.  To reserve a room, call 877-361-2506 and reference confirmation # 54820620 for the Civil Air Patrol.  For this rate, reservations must be made by 24AUG.
