On April 30th, Paine Field Squadron hosted our first Cadet Orientation Flight Event this year.
Northsore Squadron cadets joined in on the fun.

It was a stunning success! A Special thanks to the USAF and Washington Wing for funding this incredible opportunity for our Cadets!!

We did 9 sorties, the cadets learned more about aviation.

We had three different Aircraft on display for static viewing. A DA-40, Varieze, and a R-22 helicopter.

Please view the special video of the event on our YouTube page.

Fantastic Video, and congrats on your O'rides!!!

Group 2 in CAWG just finished our first O'ride day as well.  We had four planes and 14 rides.

Awesome video! I had seen it on YouTube already. Good job.

BTW, I lived in Livermore as a kid. It's grown quite a bit. I miss the good weather. 8)

My Deputy Command is from that area also.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, you too

If it's been awhile since you've been here then you will be amazed how much it's grown.  The airport really is the shining jewel of the Bay Area.  Best flying weather, great facilities, nice people, no S.A.D :) (O.K. I'm biased because I have my plane there).  All we need is a Squadron based there :)

I really enjoy conducting O'rides.  After 33 years of flying, taking a cadet up really energizes you!

May we all do more O'Rides :)
