A lot of people very early in this crisis managed to come up with solutions very quickly to keep their programs going. A lot of command elements made some significant early difficult decisions regarding cancellations before higher commands got involved.

Take the time to recognize and thank those commanders for their commitment to the safety of their members and their commitment to keeping the program alive. A CAP achievement might not be out of line for some of those commanders, and for those who have gone above and beyond to make their virtual meetings available to support their entire wings? Perhaps something a bit more there as well.

Some may think that such initiative is not worth giving an award for.

Let their higher command elements decide. Send up the commendation.

Amen! And then took the lead on crafting plans and proposals to local EOCs and NGOs and have been serving our communities ever since. In spite of the naysayers, we have engaged and done so safely and with prudence, but we are serving.

NIN, I think you need a new "Virtue Signaling" section.

Because the credit we give is in those tiny strips of cloth we put on uniforms.

How about this for a patch to those who have done a great job getting videoconferencing going in their squadron:
