The CyBorg is destroyed

My friends on CT:

I have just resigned from Civil Air Patrol.

I will not go into it overmuch, except to say that this is something which has been building for quite some time, and it probably should have happened earlier, but I tend to be one that hangs on until I feel all options have been exhausted.

For those whom I have offended on here, I am truly sorry.

This shall be my last post.

Farewell to you all and God bless you in your future aspirations.

This is almost exactly what came to my mind...

He must have received a better offer from the Volkszivilluftraumüberwachung der DDR (the People's Civil Air Patrol of the German Democratic Republic).

Auf Wiedersehen, Herr Hauptmann fuer immer, bis Sie sterben.

"Last post" or not, 10 (East German) Deutschmarks says he'll post again by 31 Mar...

And how will we ever find out how things are...er...used to be in the Air National Guard? I give it 60 days, tops, before we see another uniform proposal based on a country that no longer exists....

I am sorry to see that Civil Air Patrol has lost yet another great member. You will be missed.

Without a doubt . He does not write , but he still lurks .

I don't think so.  It can be difficult to cut away from something that you've done for so long, but a resignation means he's gone.  He's just trying to remember that.

I could be wrong, we'll see.
