Ronnie Dean Snorgrass, MSGT (E-7), Retired USAF, age 68, of Lehi, UT, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

He was born August 16, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, the fourth son on Jack and Lillie Irene Thouvenel Snorgass, who predeceased him in death.

He passed away from Congestive Heart Failure.  Since May 26, 2017 his heart was supported by an LVAD which was implanted by the University of Utah in conjunction with and maintained by the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT.

On October 21, 1972, at the United Trinity Methodist Church in Hackettstown, NJ, he married Pamela Anne Good (TSgt, E-6, Retired USAF), who survives at the home along with  his son, Sean and wife, Kirsten, with grandsons Luke (20) and Jayce (11).

In April 1972, Ronnie joined active duty in the United States Air Force.  He graduated High School at Edwards Air Force Base, CA, and continued his thirst for knowledge by attending many schools including Officer Training School while in active duty.  He completed his education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Technilogical Engineering from Utah State University.

Preceding him in death was his son, Ronnie D. Snorgrass, JR, January 7, 2014, 4 brothers and one sister.

He is survived by 3 brothers, 5 nephews and 10 nieces.

Ronnie achieved the rank of Master Sergeant before retiring May 1992. He received many commendations, awards and accolades. He was a volunteer fireman in Rosemond, CA 1972. In 1974, he joined Civil Air Patrol (auxiliary of the Air Force) achieving the rank of Lt Col before his death. He served as a Cubmaster for Pack 78, Clearfield Community Church, Clearfield, UT. He was a Life Member of many organizations including Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), American Legion and many, many other organizations.

In 1979, he became and Aircraft Battle Damage and Repair (ABDR) instructor. Due to his love for knowledge, which he never got enough of, he continued to teach after retiring. In 1994, he became a licensed Auctioneer, performing many charity auctions. As his heart deteriorated his passion was for Stained Glass, woodworking, wood carving and family history.

He loved to fly, becoming a private pilot flying search and rescue missions with CAP. He was a Baptist and God was his co-pilot.
