The webinar was recorded and at some point will be online, so anyone interested can see it, and get the official word on these things from Hqds.

In a nutshell, the plan developed with FEMA was discussed in detail.  How we will respond in cases of flooding, hurricanes, etc. on both state and federal levels.

FEMA has stated they have "no interest" in developing air crews internally and are working closely with CAP to develop systems for us to provide imagery using sUAS alongside the existing airplane usage. They are very interested in what we can provide.

Push packs of all the gear needed (from the drones, to computers to process images, to portable gasoline generators, and much more) are already sitting on pallets, ready to transport to disaster areas. We just need the trained crews to be able to meet the pallets, setup at the mission base, and be ready to work.

And yes, they even addressed the issue of the "draft" documents. I'll let the video speak to that.  Coming soon.

Supposedly, within a couple weeks (?) the National website will be updated, and will finally have the section on the program, and all the documents will be there for download. For those who are leary of the 'dropbox' system now.
