I feel like that's one of those goals that doesn't need to be stated  ;D

I kid, I kid.

To find some way to get promoted to colonel that doesn't involve either becoming a wing commander or serving for 50 years.

Other than that, to get involved again - when I'm not filming and editing our children's TV show.

Communications: The latest revision of the CAPR 100-1 is currently in the staff coordination process and will be published soon. This revision will update the regulation to better address changes in technology and CAP's missions. The new I-Cut training program is in Beta testing and should be available to the membership in the first quarter of 2012. POC - Lt Col Steve Haney, National Communications Officer - tc0654@mesh.net

In the process lost 40 lbs, went from mid-80s on AF Fitness test to three scores above 95, to include a 99.3 on the last one.  Dropped 4+ inches off my waist.[/i]

Impressive. Bravo Zulu!

Dont stress over those who are quick to point out a mistake here. You are new to the forums I beleive and likely to CAP overall. Just do your best and learn to take comments like the previous with a grain of salt  ::)
Your goals are good, by working torward them you will succeed and I am sure that at encampment you will learn alot! PT takes time and constant effort, work on it regularly is my advice to a new cadet.

Cap'n

I apologize, C/SrA. I don't know what that was.  :-[

Don't fret, I was kidding. :)

You learn over time the multitudes of abbreviations CAP uses... just wait until Encampment.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it. Yes, I'm still working on my Curry Achievement, so pretty new, but I probably shouldn't being making mistakes on ranks at this point. :)

Oh no, it's fine. I did laugh, I was just annoyed I made a mistake already. :)

Encampment seems like it's going to be awesome, but very intimidating at the same time. Do you happen to have any experience with the COWG encampment? That's where I plan on going this summer, and it would be nice to find feedback.

rustyjeeper

You are welcome. I am not a big poster online here myself, but I do read thru all of the post's and in that way a person can learn a lot and also get some good ideas and feedback. One thing I have noticed is that there are a lot of times when someone who is relatively new asks a question or makes a mistake of some kind- experienced members seem to swoop in like a seagull on a french-fry for the opportunity to point out what is wrong.... And I know myself that I would not be encouraged if that happened to me just starting our. I appreciate HG's quick response to you as well ;D

It shows that sometimes we; the more experienced people within CAP often just hit reply quickly and dont stop to think about how the person who made the mistake, or asked the questions might feel until too late,  if at all.
There is nothing wrong with correcting an error but in so doing you never want to cause someone to become discouraged- especially a "newbie"
Good luck to you and Happy New Year!

Cap'n

Thank you again, and have a very Happy New Year too! (:
