Hi All,

Our commander has the award certificate received by national but left at the squadron and I wasn't able to measure. He sent an email requesting I purchase the frame for our next meeting which will be then awarded. He's not sure the size of the award. Does anyone know out there which size frame to purchase for the Amelia Earhart Award certificate? Is it the same as Mitchell or any other award?

Thank you,

Deats

All of the cadet officer (sent from NHQ) milestone award certificates measure 11" x 17"

Just to clarify, the Wright Brothers Award---which is printed off eServices---is an 8.5" x 11"

It could be an 11" x 17" if you wanted it to be. Use 11" x 17" certificate paper in the printer.
Nothing says it has to look crappy just because you have to print it. Matter of fact it's a chance for you to make it look better!

Enlarging things in the printing process can actually degrade the artwork, depending on the source material. Text usually does OK, since it's essentially in vector format, but images can get fuzzier and pixelated.
Do a test print before you print for real.

Or just center it on the page. I didn't say anything about enlarging or making it fit the page.

Who said it needs to look crappy?

Get a nice frame for it that fits or mats down to that size. We do; wood frames.
