Title: Transferred in member from another squadron. He got converted to patron status.

How do I unwind the conversion of a SM from patron status? I'm not sure how it happened, but he wasn't a patron until we transferred him in.

Call NHQ and explain the situation. Also prepare a Form 11 and transfer him back to Active.

Suggestion, Pattern:

It might be worthwhile to do some quick checks on his eServices record first, to ensure that he's current on recurrent training like CPPT, etc. There's an outside chance that something expired while he was moving/in transit, and somehow that flagged him somewhere. Easily fixable.

To conclude this, it looks like the outgoing squadron converted him to patron a couple of days before the transfer went through. NHQ fixed it.
