There is a CAP Squadron (Palm Springs Composite Squadron 11) that meets right there at the museum.

Nice.  Chino is good too, and if you can get on base, checking out the Edwards AFB one and the static displays at NASA Dryden are well worth it.

There's also the Lockheed Skunkworks "museum" on the south side of Palmdale Airport across the street from Los Angeles Center.

Lots of Black aircraft in there and most of the museum volunteers are Skunkworks retirees.
