Has anyone noticed that the picture of a C/2nd Lt (possibly a C/1st Lt, all the more embarrassing) modeling the New Style Semiformal Uniform in 39-1, Figure 2-8, has a ribbon rack that is horrifically out of order? They cannot even be in the order earned, the Arnold is before the Curry!

Seriously, does NHQ even proofread regs before publishing?

His rack appears to be in the following, decending order:

Commander's Commendation
Mitchell
Armstrong
Lindbergh
Cadet Recruiter
Encampment
CAC
Special Acts
National CG Comp
Community Service
Red Service
Find
Curry
Arnold
Wright Brothers
Rickenbacker

Yeah. We noticed a few years ago when 39-1 was published. There's a few other snafu's in there as well. Kinda like a "Where's Waldo" book of screwups.

This has pretty well been beaten to death on other, older threads.

Though anyone looking to drag the dead horse out for some new smacking need only looking to the most
current Volunteer.

They've been doing a pretty good job up until now on uniform issues, but this last one has plenty for the annual "don't" presentation.

Its one thing when we're talking about action shots, but the PA's should be paying more attention to detail
on staged photos - or as the pic moves upstream they should be vetted better.

Especially a certain SQD overseas where the Officers wore regular metal grade insignia on AF-Style instead of the CAP specific grey epaulets.  Way to go NHQ for putting those pictures of them on line and int eh previous Volunteer.
