multiple quotes can be used in one post, negating the need to post several times in a row.

click the "preview" button
click the mouse at the point in your post where you want to insert the quote
look for the quotes you want to include and click "insert quote"

But then it would take longer for him to get a higher post count 

My bad.  Two things happened there:

1) The replies were done at two separate times; and
2) My mindset is from a different kind of system where you try to preserve the thread of a discussion, rather than replying to multiple messages in a single post.
