A question to put out amongst the CAPTalk. Now I realize by looking at the subject you're wondering, hmm, how does Databasing have to do with Cadet Programs. Simple: the database in question is a new Cadet Competition Management Database including Scoring, Finance, Administration, and Logistics, amongst some other tweaks.
I've run into a remote dead-end. I've finished about 90% of the scoring system, and I've run into the bump. I have queries which rank each individual event, however, the query to add those together, well, it's not playing nicely, at all!
The DB is located here: https://pantherfile.uwm.edu/mikopp/public/NCC%20-%20Scoring.mdb.
Please if you have a chance and know Access or SQL (or even similar) take a peek and let me know what I'm missing here.
Thank you.
I recommend contacting the gentleman who wrote SIMS, (Rank?) James Van der Vieren.
Here's a link to his profile on Squadron Command.

Actually, it's Capt
Dennis Van der Vieren.
You're right. Why'd I type James? Weird.
