It's encouraging to see that enthusiasm from a young cadet.  Don't ever let anyone change that.

I've got million priceless memories and I don't even have my Red Service yet! Here are a few:

Grogging my C/CC at encampment,
Being on Color Guard in a pass in-review in front of a one-star,
meeting my best friends,
watching a movie with the other cadre on the last night of encampment,
being accepted as a flight sergeant at encampment,
being at encampment with my friends,
joing the world of senior NCOs,
helping introduce new cadets to the CAP Cadet Program,

I could go on, but I'd never shut up.

Oh yeah. It was really funny when you grogged your C/CC.
I'm sure she'll remember it vividly come staff interviews for the new term.

Some of my favorite memories (and I've only been in CAP 18-19 months), in no particular order:

Swearing in, when my cadet commander forgot parts of the cadet oath  :o
Getting soaked at a fundraiser (no, it wasn't raining)
Singing in the barracks at my basic encampment (I'm talking about songs, not jodies, and not when marching)
Dancing during aerospace presentations at encampment
Being on color guard for the cadet ball (wing conference)
Taking the grog at the cadet ball - it was actually sort of tasty :)
Doing impromptu skits the last night of encampment - they were so funny!

I thought it was actually quite hilarious, and so did everyone from our squadron >:D  ;D But yeah, I'm kinda not holding my breath on first shirt...  I have a feeling that I'll be paying for that grog sometime in the near future.  :o  I would also like to point out that I was advised to grog by a certain cadet Airman who was also about to grog that C/CC, before the encampment C/CC called her out anyway....
