Family needs help rebuilding

A few nights ago two Senior Members and a Cadet from Abilene Composite Squadron were involved in a house fire in Cisco, TX. They were awoken by their puppy barking and got out. Thankfully nobody was injured.

While we are grateful for the quick response of the fire department, repairing the damage will be very costly and the family did not have insurance and is already financially strained. Some of us have already helped them clean up and even begin to rebuild the physical structure. However, because the fire started at the electric meter, the electric company will not install new service until the house has been rewired and inspected. This will require the services of a licensed electrician and a few thousand dollars worth of material.
