Okay, I know this isn't a "new" post, but since I've just rejoined, I thought I'd share this before-and-after of me ... the first photo is me trying on a CSU while still retired (and still way way too big).  The second is me as of this week, putting on the AF uniform again (and I know I'm jumping the gun on the reinstatement of rank but what the heck).

What do you think of the "new" me?

^ WOW!

That is awesome Sir!!!

Good work on your part.  You are an example to many of us here.

ColonelJack

Thank you for your kind comments, Spike, but the "example" is currently mortified.  How did I not notice the GRW ribbon was backward???  Darn you, Ultra-Thin!!!!

Hmmm...now I have to send the whole rack back to them.  Sigh.

Since you are sending the rack in anyway...
You might have them change the large Navy-style stars on your Garber and GRW to the smaller size.

Thank you, Major Piersall ... I thought there was something else odd about the rack, but couldn't put my finger on it.  Boy, did they mess this order up!

I still like them, though.  The ribbons do look sharp.

I wish I'd have kept my hawaiian-sleeve mess dress shirt from my active duty days...

IceNine

They are referred to as Mess Dress Party Shirts.

Classic!

The "tradition" is to remove the sleeves from the top seam to the french cuff and replace it.  As well as removing the back panel minus the shoulders.

I've seen Hawaiian sleeves and iron on A/C's looks pretty sweet in the right setting.
