Not Sure What To Do With Old Uniforms?Fri Aug 03 20:53:40 GMT 2007
Consider donating your old Service Dress Uniform or your old BDU (remove name, rank and service identifying information) to the following places:
Your local Airmen's Attic or Airmen's Closet
Your local JROTC unit or
Your local Civil Air Patrol (CAP) units
The cadets can make excellent use of all old uniforms.  To find a CAP unit that is near where you are located, click on the link below to the CAP unit locator.  With this link, you can use city/state or zip code and locate a unit that is nearest to you. There are about 1200 CAP squadrons across the CONUS, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Most (not all) are near some military installation. For those units that are not nearby, then it might be possible for one of their wings (usually located at a AFB) to collect the donated uniforms and distribute them to the subordinate units.

......Glad to see it is out there.  Those of you who meet at AF bases/stations......get into the thrift shops on base and make it known you are looking for uniforms for your Cadets.  Most will usually just give them to you!
What's up monkeys?

Put up your old CAP uniforms on the CAPTalk Marketplace:

Put it up for free, for cost of shipping, or for small profit and you'll reach a targeted audience of other Civil Air Patrol members easily.  :)
