CAP glider projects

  I have the patterns for the CAP glider projects (the Wright Flyer, the "Cub", and the 172), and I was just wondering.....Has anyone tried these on a larger scale? I was thinking (just for kicks) to use the poster function on my printer, use spray adhesive to attach the enlarged printouts to posterboard (a little heavier stock), then cut out the pieces and build it. I know it's a couple of extra steps, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried this, and how it turned out?
