New California Wing Commander (Select)

I am pleased to announce the Pacific Region commander, Col Larry Myrick, has
selected Col (Select) Jon Stokes to be the next California Wing commander.  Col
(Select) Stokes will assume command at the change of command ceremony to occur
at the California Wing Conference Awards Banquet on Saturday, 27 August 2011, at
the Oakland Airport Hilton in Oakland, California.  I am confident you will
provide your next wing commander with the same exceptional support you have
afforded me over these past four years.

Please join me in extending congratulations to Col (Select) Stokes and
appreciation for all the candidates who put themselves forward for the selection
process.  All of the candidates where extremely well qualified and this was a
very difficult selection for our region commander.
