Title: SARKID's new HF
Post by: ♠SARKID♠ on November 29, 2008, 07:16:29 PM
My new Micom-S just came today!  I've been waiting two frustrating weeks for this thing to show up and I'm too excited not to share the news!

Looks pretty cool to me.  Where did you get it?

Ebay, surprisingly.  Picked up the whole kit for $380 +S&H, darn fine price for a Micom.  As I sit here I'm in the process of writing up the new frequency list to program into it.

Yeah, after looking at the compliance list and comparing radios for a couple of weeks, the Micom series were the only ones that had any major appeal to me.  There was a nifty Yeasu multiband but its power output was pathetic so I waited around for this honey to show up.
