Title: Submitting nominations for Cadet of the Year
Post by: Pylon on March 15, 2007, 07:24:01 PM
Lt Col Trupp (aka: sjtrupp) wrote an excellent post (really, an article) at CadetStuff's forums (http://forums.cadetstuff.org) on "Who wants to be CAP Cadet of the Year?"   It's a great starter on how to piece together an impressive packet nominating a cadet for the CoY distinction at the National level.

Having been a Group Cadet Programs Officer before and having seen several of these packets ascend up the chain myself, I can say that his advice is certainly spot on and is a great motivator and starting point for any cadet who aspires for CAP Cadet of the Year.  It's also great for any senior involved in Cadet Programs.

Take a look (http://forums.cadetstuff.org/viewtopic.php?t=7772).   :)
