Dave & I lived on the same street, Surrey Lane (Burton, MI), from about age 11, attended Bentley HS and graduated together. We had a ton of fun times and hung out a lot along with other common friends. Both of us ended up living in Florida about 4 hours apart. We stayed in contact over the years and always enjoyed retelling our good times and (sometimes) wild stories. Dave had a unique background in sailing and boating. He was a born sailor and I suggested once that he should have joined the Navy instead of the Army! It should have been no surprise that after selling his boat he joined the CAP. He always had to be doing something. I'm going to miss him. RIP old friend.
