What is Medical Course in encampment like?
Thanks.
What Medical Course at WHICH Encampment?
I don't think I've ever heard about an encampment having a "medical course." The most I could think of them being able to squeeze into an encampment would be a basic first aid course. If so, you'd most likely be taught by someone who's a Red Cross instructor, watch a video, do some hands-on stuff, and take a quiz.
He may be talking about the Hawk Mountain Ranger School which does have a Medical Course.
But that's NOT an Encampment.
Georgia Wing is planning on offering wilderness first aid as an adjunct our encampment this year (i.e. not for encampment credit, but as a resident technical course). Separate instructor/cadre/previous encampment required.
Fort Gordon/Augusta/late June.
OP, it would help if you were a bit more specific with your question.

Smap,
Thank you for this info. Sadly I won't be able to join GA Encampment. But I looked it up and it seems like a really good encampment.
Thanks again,
